I have enjoyed all of the "A Dozen" downloads I've purchased. For the price, they can't be beat. This is no exception and I [now] look forward to good "Gather Information" roll in my campaign to utilize these. These are pretty good - simple too. These are great for story points in a game or basis for an adventure to themselves.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: The first rumor about a lost sword was great - in 5 miuntes time I had the details for an adventure drawn up from the details it offered. I even put together a small map for it. Some good rumors to drop into the conversations around the tavern or streets of any town. If your players follow them then you have a little detail to help you formulate a side trek. Very useful and not always obvious developments for colour in a campaign leading in to potential short adventures.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Some, but not all, rumours lead to surprising plot twists and unexpected villains but still remain logical and useable in a generic fantasy campaign.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: The stories behind rumours range widely, from inconsequential minor events to campaign-breaking. It would be more useful if most of them were within the range of playable adventure hooks. The Elizabethan city setting and names are slightly jarring to the core assumptions of D&D.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Great job! When you get stuck for an idea, throw one of these at your players and watch them scramble to find out if it's true or not!

Excellent product. The format of including the results of a failed Gather Info check, the source of the rumor to the PCs, the details and follow-up is intuitive (and fresh). Well worth the price.
