An interesting approach to a unique system function, this Tale primairly deals with the mass combat system. A very nice treatment blending mass combat and individual missions together. For the wargaming groups the army details are enough to use any other mass combat system out there. For those who are more into role playing, the mass combat treatment gives the details needed to resolve these big battles quickly, but still give the players a feeling of importance. The first attempt to incorporate the two types together was pretty successful!

A good campaign that makes use of the Savage Worlds Mass Battle rules. For once, your PCs will be commanding armies, not just fighting mobs.

My one complaint (which could also be a strength): I think this would run better if some more role playing or dungeon crawling adventures were mixed in between the pitched battles.
