Excellent set of magic rings to add in to a d20 game; helpful quick reference for extra items not to give the players...

LIKED: Easy to use, clear information, good content

DISLIKED: Nothing

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
As with this all of these I have seen so far, this product is decent with a large volume of "duplicate" items with only slightly varying abilities. It's not strictly true that the product contains 50 new itmes. It's more like 15 - 20 with most of the others being almost identical with slightly different abilities.

LIKED: A reasonable amount of fresh ideas for $1. At best, the product sparked an idea of my own, at which point I wrote a completely original item based only loosely on the one in the product.

DISLIKED: Many of the items are weak. Only a handful are truly original. Most of them are basically duplicates with effects differing only on the element of the effect, the type of creature it affects, etc...

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
I bought a bunch of these (most if not all) and like them quite a bit. I'm always on the lookout for interesting magic items that are well made. These fit the bill well. Very reasonably priced as well.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Some very cool ideas for rings, but really doesn't have 50 rings, when you have one type of ring and make 10 variations of it, seems like it was just being used as filler. so expect more like, 35 rings. but aside from that, some pretty neat ideas for a buck.

LIKED: Some novel ideas.

DISLIKED: Some rings don't seem priced appropriately for their power. not really 50 rings since they take some idea (the dragon rings) and make one for each dragon. look, 10 rings! but they really could have been described with just one ring.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
Great value for the price. It's nice to not have my players immediately recognize the items they just found or were awarded. Very clever stuff.

GOOD RECOURCE, HOWEVER I THOUGHT USING THE SAME TEMPLATE FOR A WEAPON/ARMOR/ITEMS AND MODIFYING IT SLIGHTLY,AND LISTING THAT VARIED TEMPLATE 20 TIMES WAS KINDA CHEAP. BUT STILL A DECENT RESOURCE.

I like the Dragon Slayer Rings, but am slightly disappointed that the Trap rings were reprinted from Magic Rings I without an expansion on the concept (whereas I don't mind that the Bark-Skin Armor ring was reprinted since more along a similar line were included).

I noticed fewer typos in this product, and the ideas were solid (but the Bullet Ring would seem to be uncomfortable for most PCs, considering the size of sling bullets, but magic is magic).

Recommended.

Lots of good stuff! A good resource for those DMs who need that something different without having to really work at it!

Just a quick note to let you know that there is an extra page in this product that belongs to Magic Rings I.
