For a nice low price you get 19 pages of assorted tiles which seems pretty reasonable to me. The variety is good, in particular I think the grass and cobbled/rock path tiles can see a lot of use in many settings above and beyond a dojo or similar. I'm afraid once you get passed the plain roms the corridors and junctions turn up which I will admit I've yet to look at in detail but seem a little confusing at a first glance, not too sure where I should be cutting I know it kind of depends on what I want but a page or two of idiot proofing instructions would have been appreciated.

As a couple of other reviews have said some of the sections struggle a bit with the grids - where more than one tile pattern has been used it looks to me like one has been pasted over the top of the other and not lined up very well but I would consider it a minor inconvience more than a big disadvantage. And the coi pond really ought to have grids over it. You know it makes sense.

But all told it looks like a good buy to me, its a first foray into tiles for me so I don't have anything to compare it against really. I've used some free stuff and this is clearly better than that and I would definitly buy from these folks again.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Oriental style floor tiles in A4 format. There are the usual basic 8x11 floor textile tiles, and some special rooms: One with dragon artwork on the floor, one with a large carp pond, etc. I don't see much use for the sheets made up of thin strips of pathway, but I'm happy enough with the product.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

These tiles are ok, but nowhere near the quality of Skeleton Key Games. Save your money and them instead.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Oriental theme<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Not very useful or flexable.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Disappointing<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Disappointed<br>

Mad Kaiser puts out fairly interesting products for very low prices. Considering this, you can't fault the minor downfalls in artwork that you might find. Overall, I like the idea of being able to throw in a dojo of some sort. The actual parts, unfortunately, don't all live up the same standard. The cedar-floor segments print very nicely, especially the big dragon insignia. The grass and cobblestones, however, leave me wanting. All in all, a useful if flawed product.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Lots of tiles, many of them good and inspiring. Low cost. <br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Some elements don't print well, some art uninspired in execution. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

A very good looking product. The print was sharp and crisp, well worth the price of buying it.

Very nice set. A bit confusing. There are a few huge tatami floors, some with designs, some stone walled corridors a coy pond and some other sized tatami floors. There are two beautifull folding screens and a couple of rice paper doors All and all a good value!

A brilliant product - very versatile.

A bit more variety would have been nicer - but at $2 - you can't complain! And you can print out as many of these as you want!

Mad Kaiser Productions doing what they do well.

This time it's oriental flooring, not something I've seen done by any other floorplan maker. This set covers everything you're likely to need for oriental adventures, wooden floors, dojo mats, a zen garden etc.

A couple of niggles though - some of the tiles, like the zen garden for instance, include a border that clashes with the overall grid of the tile. The ornamental pond doesn't have any sort of grid over the water area (hands up who doesn't expect combatants to be fighting in the water?)

And one other complaint - this was launched at $7.99 and almost immediately dropped to $5.25. That full price is quite a bit higher than most other MK products, which smacks a little of and attempt over-clever marketing. This pack's well worth around $5, there's no need to try to trick us into thinking it's a "special offer" at that price.

In Summary: Mad Kaiser floorplans might not be the prettiest out there, but they're still very nice and very practical. If you play any oriental RPGs using miniatures then this product is a must-buy.
