I liked this supplement almost as much as the Halfling player in my group liked it. He now is on the quest to become the most famous cook in my world and is out there adventuring to get the newest and weirdest ingredients for his creations.

The PDF is well thought out and very well structured, just like we are used to from Ronin Arts.

The Foods departement is a tad thin, and not that original. After all its Basicly nothing else but "Potions as food". I would have also like a bit more on different or exotic ingridients for foods. All in all its usable in any Campaign and is great if you have players who want to have something to do with food or you want to have some other means of delivering magical effects to players then potions. (Lembas anyone? G)

I think this is an excellent product. It really made me want to have a NPC cooking lots of magically enhanced food stuff. It can even provide some comic relief; my players didn't quite know what to make of the "Magic Muffin of Cure Light Wounds" they received as payment for a job they did!

What character doesn't eat? This book seriously adds something to any setting.

As with the others in this series this PDF is well thought out and will be useful to GM's and players. Infusing foods with potions and using the craft/profession cooking skill can greatly enhance the effects of a potion.

This will give your players a jolt, especially if they're in the habit of not paying attention to what they eat at the inn beyond blithely ordering the best meal in the house --

I like the other suppliments in this series but this one I did not care for.

First off standard potion creation rules are copied over. That is what I had expected and was looking for something more. A few magical foods are listed but they are too closely related to real life things for my taste. For example there is magical spinich that increases strength that seems to be straight from popeye. A few spells are added. I didnt expect anything powerful but they really didnt seem like they would have any use at all. The magic items are modern day instruments converted over into magical effects.

I would have rated this a 2 but this does add to an untouched aspect of roleplaying and I dont see much being able to be added to the topic of magical food to roleplaying.

Good jumping off place for concepts. Worth the price...would be willing to pay more for something more involved
