Slagtown: Eden
Publisher: Finger and Toe Models
by Joseph R. M. [Verified Purchaser]
Date Added: 05/09/2007 00:00:00

The Slagtown Eden set really gives you the option to create either a complete tabletop full of derelict buildings or with a bit of work a sort of Shantytown. Slagtown Eden will fit in seamlessly with other Modern to Near-Future cardstock sets currently available, is easy to tweak to a specific building type or feel, and builds up quickly.

The instructions which come with this set are clear and direct, so that it is easy to start making your own dream derelicts become reality.

LIKED: Good Product and if you have questions hop on over to the companies forum to ask any questions.

DISLIKED: This space let intentionally blank...

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Tilez - Sci-Fi
Publisher: UKG Publishing
by Joseph R. M. [Verified Purchaser]
Date Added: 10/16/2006 00:00:00

Well here?s my opinion of the Sci-fi Tilez from UKG Publishing: I bought this set to with the hopes of improving my existing 3-D cardstock building sets (from Ebbles Miniatures, Stones-Edges Games and World Works Games to name a few) while I really like the options available with these sets what I was missing was floor tiles with a good ?Hollywood? Sci-Fi feel, I wanted rooms which would have more character and this set of tiles definitely gave me many more options.

From the Beginning I appreciated the simplicity of the installation of the Tilez, Unpack/zip the data and there is the Auto run Icon... one double-click and you are in business, with the easy choice of 25 Coloured or Grayscale tiles and the page of props with the fitting floor pattern right there ready to be printed out this set keeps it simple and fun to create a more exciting setup with differing atmospheres.

LIKED: What's not to like!? see my above Waffelings :)

DISLIKED: I had no dislikes in this set, to be honest, How can you be disappointed with this much possibilities for $2.50 !?!?

Possible improvements could be a simple add-on pack for this tile-set with a few parts such as: Service hatch covers Oil and ?blood stains? Damaged flooring sections ?bug infested? flooring sections

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Tilez - Fantasy

Well here is my opinion of the Fantasy Tilez from UKG Publishing: I bought this set together with the Sci-fi with the hopes of improving my existing 3-D cardstock building sets (from Ebbles Miniatures, Stones-Edges Games and World Works Games to name a few) while I really like the options available with these sets what I was missing was floor tiles with a good Hollywood Styled Near Future or Modern feel, I wanted rooms which would have differing character and this set of tiles definitely gave me many more options.

From the Beginning I appreciated the simplicity of the installation of the Tilez, Unpack/zip the data and there is the Auto run Icon... one double-click and you are in business, with the easy choice of many different Coloured or Grayscale tiles and the page of fantasy props (which probably will not see as much service as their Sci-Fi counterparts)with the fitting floor patterns were right there ready to be printed out and used. This set also keeps it simple and fun to create a more exciting setup with differing atmospheres.

LIKED: As with the Sci-Fi Tilez "What's not to like!?" see my above Rambelings :)

DISLIKED: As I commented about the Sci-Fi tilez, I had no dislikes in this set, to be honest, How can you be disappointed with this much possibilities for $2.50 !?!?

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I was very pleasently surprised with the level of detail availible here. The parts are easy to cut out and assemble, and the stairs idea is super, keep up the good work. I will continue to look out for updates from this maufacturer.

DOLLAR DUNGEON$-ALPHA STATION
Publisher: Mad Kaiser Games
by Joseph R. M. [Verified Purchaser]
Date Added: 04/22/2004 00:00:00

The floor plans are a good beginning for some interesting 3D building projects, some normal modern era street type patterns would be welcome...??? (do they already exist?) recommended for anyone building 3D dioramas/playing areas on a budget, or making some new "Space Hulk" type spaceship plans.
