Science fiction floor tiles. I was pleasantly surprised to find a number of room tiles included, as the original Dollar Dungeon$ only has basic textures.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Satisfied
As with all DD$ products you shouldn't expect ready made floorplans for campaigning, although there are some pages containing what could be used as rooms and passages. The contents are rather meant to be used for construction of self-designed maps. And for this the set contains a nice selection of high-tech looking floors and walls. As a bonus you get lots of extra equipment to cut out and glue together like e.g. four inches wide cargo bay gates. All contents are scaled to one inch grid. There are 30 pages of floor/wall textures with basically three different kinds of surface: steel plate, some kind of blue vinyl and iron grille. Then you get one page (it's the only one with hexes) of what looks like the ground of an alien hive with some slime on the ground. The extra equipment consists of doors in two different sizes, computer terminals and different crates. Don't forget to download the extra free stuff from the order page. There are chairs and more consoles there. Alltogether not that bad, but needs some assembling effort to be really useful. But it's worth it, the results can look great.

The floor plans are a good beginning for some interesting 3D building projects, some normal modern era street type patterns would be welcome...??? (do they already exist?) recommended for anyone building 3D dioramas/playing areas on a budget, or making some new "Space Hulk" type spaceship plans.

This is an excellent set. You not only get floor tiles galore but crates, doors and other scenic pieces as well. The graphics is high quality with plenty of detail. The only real problem was that there didn't seem to be as much variety as in the other DD sets. However you still get 36 pages of excellent artwork.

A bit dull. No props to use save for some boxes and doors. Worth the $3 though

I did not like the production of alot of the rooms, they tended to be the same room with 1 component ( one of which was a control panel looking thing that is hard to identify) in a different spot. Couldn't they have just put the components on a seperate page so you could place it where you wanted it?

Some very, very cool tiles. The doors that come with the set are the best I have seen for Sci-Fi games. The room and corridor tiles do not work. They are just too big. Each section takes up one page. Would have been better to make them smaller and fit more on one page. However you can cut them up and make smaller ones.

The Mad Kaiser's floorplan tiles aren't the most detailed and intricate on the market. But they are very practical and very reasonably priced. Alpha Station is probably the best of the lot so far, and many of the pages print out very well on a B&W laser printer, making them even better value.

If you're a SF or modern/supers GM and want to set fights in underground complexes, these will do splendidly.
