Nice, full color interior map. Rich back story that has many options for interaction. can be modified from high-end restaurant to a large tavern by changing the dinning room. Excellent for higher level players that are getting into politics and alignment with other power groups.

Clear and clean small village or way station. Both color and B/W images. Has no markings, so can be given to the players as-is for them to interact with. Only 10-12 buildings with one hill at the edge of town makes this a quick stop for the players on their way to another adventure. Could be a supply stop, tavern visit for local info, a place to obtain horses - or even a haunting from the hill graveyard for a minor encounter.

Clear layout with clear identification of key locations. Excellent back story with enough detail for multiple types of encounters.

Non-fantasy map of 1515 Italy and surrounding areas. Can be adapted into any game by using locations of cities and the intervening geography, just change the names.

Rather complex for a Level 0 adventure. I did like that the likelyhood of characters dying would be educational for new players.
"Hole in the Sky is designed for 16-24 zero-level DCC RPG
characters who should “funnel” down to a small group of
PCs that will rise to 1st-level and go on to fabulous adventures."
This is old school, kill 'em all off until only the best remain.
Not designed for a small group that expected to become a united, coordinated group that would meet on a regular basis.
I see another option for a 4-6 player group. When the character dies, player re-rolls a new character that has to have significant differences from the original. This would allow player to work with a range of characters to learn how to play diverse characters.

Excellent book and worth the price. You can read many stories by taking different paths through your choices. Well worth the discounted price. I cheated by reading the endings of several stories, Ste-Ka's choices (actually yours) lead to different ends, all have some satisfaction, but a couple are wonderful ends to his story.
Choose wisely young prince.

I got this set of cards to explore how I might integrate these or similar cards into my ongoing campaign. Clearly shows the many options available and links to complete sets of cards. Good job for an intro to this method of gaming.

Short, excellent intro to Adventures in Filbar (Filbar-Bast). This allows the DM to get all she needs to know to decide whether she wants to run her PCs through this campaign. Designed for beginning players and DMs, guided adventures with options for extra side adventures along the way. Amazing photos of the Codex that could be printed out as handouts to add realism for the PCs.

My first exposure to Chivalry & Sorcery. Amazing what you get for FREE. I am a fantasy 3.5 DM, got this to explore another type of game. All you need in 3 volumes to start and run a campaign.

Much better than other free products. Full descriptions, clear maps, and easy to modify for your own game. There is a bonus in adding the thieves guild in the basement. This could be modified to make the basement a home for your adventurers. The NPCs are fully explained and easy to work into many different types of adventures. Very pleased.

Over 40 superstitions - quirky fun. Many excellent ideas to integrate into my games. Actual superstitions with spells, creatures and items that fit each superstition. Can be used for NPCs, town rumors and PC fears.

Easy to view - all the maps available from Dungeons in Blue. I used a couple ideas for my own dungeons and made plans on which sets to buy in the future. Very complete.

Good overview of Empires. Not my style of play. Rules are easily understood.

This sample sheet clearly shows the detail of the floors that's available in the full sets. They were too busy for me to use. Glad I got the free sample.
