James Spahn is the master of OSR games. Coming off the success of his brilliant take on Space Opera, White Star, he takes us back to the origins of the game. The Heroes Journey is an innovative take on Swords & Wizardry, this is James' fantasy heartbreaker. Drawing upon the classic tales, like Tolkien he is practically giving you this game. Well, okay technically he is giving you this game. So get it! Praise it! Love it. Take the journey, the Heroes Journey.

James eats dreams and lives White Box Swords and Wizardry. You can count on all of his supplements being great and this one lives up to that reputation. It doesn't contain new classes, but rules on becoming a Knight and learning knightly skills. If you love White Box, you will love James' work

A simple concept well executed. Hot off the Press - The Globe Vol.1 No.1 is a 1 page newspaper filled with adventure hooks for your pulp games like Spirit of the Century, Call of Cthulhu, or whatever.
You can just print it off, hand it to your players and see what hooks them. Can't wait to see more of these.

3:16 Carnage Amongst the star is a simple game of killing things. What things, any alien life you encounter. The game only has to stats FA - Fighting ability and NFA - Non Fighting ability. It is a Roll under system where you roll and if you get your score or below you succeed. Damage from weapons equates to how many aliens you kill. The Gm is given a structured point system to determine how to develop his encounters and use aliens special abilities. He is also given random tables to determine planets and aliens.
Play was very fun with only 2 players and a gamemaster, the rest of the crew was filled out with nameless marines that soaked up damage. An entire game played out in just about 1 1/2 hours and that was with us trying to figure out rules as we went. I wouldn't recommend this game for long campaign play, but I would insist that it is perfect for one shots when not all of the players show up.
Pick this game up and give it a try. If you like Aliens, or Starship troopers this is the game you've been looking for.

Lots of new options for your D20 Modern Campaign. This is stuff you wished they had included in the original book.

I bought this and Swords of our fathers after being intrigued by the options in Unearthed Arcana. I was not disappoited, this is an idea that has been needed for a long time. No longer will your players just drop their magic sword when a new one shows up. With weapons that grow with your character your weapon will never be outdated.

A little plain, this does not contain any graphics to make it pretty. What you do get is lots of good sheets to plan out your campaign. I think it might have a little more limited use for those of us who use pre-made campaigns though.
