Really enjoy and appreciate this book! I love the Hero System already, and in particular love the universal quality of the system that encourages genre mashing. This is a nice intro to an urban fantasy setting with the fantasy out in the open, not a secret world per se. I can use other Hero System supplements to flesh it out with equipment, magic etc. I in particular use the Monster Hunter International supplement with this to get a slightly more gritty feel. I would love to see more material for this as a campaign!

Really interesting "take" on an RPG from a Christian world-view. Worth the read just for the perspective; avoids a lot of cliches.

Excellent color art and villain write-ups! Much more than just an update from 5th edition! A must for anyone wanting to run a 6th editions Champions game!

Good quality PDF with legible text and useful illustrations. Reads like a genre book for Steam Punk as much as a specific campaign setting. Provides a good overview and useful examples including inspirational quotes from sources from the Victorian era and from contemporary works set in it.
I appreciated all the content, and only wished there were more. Many of the sections could benefit from expansions and added detail and samples. I hope the sales justify supplementary books in the future.

Good quality PDF with very nice content; I enjoyed this product very much and am looking forward to using it. I am thinking of getting the hard copy as well as there are a number of parts that it would be nice to be able to pass around my gaming group for their reference, particularly the large number of character templates for character generation.
Fascinating mix of Pulp, Post-Apocalyptic, and Fantasy which is perfect for using the Hero System. I am reviewing only the Hero System version and not the Savage Worlds rule based version. I was particularly happy with the quality of the Hero System stats and write ups as they felt like an integral part of the writing instead of a quick, tacked-on conversion.
I hope that they make a Hero Designer Pack available at some point for character templates, equipment, vehicles, etc.

Lots of material in this supplement with an extensive history that lends itself to using for different genre's though it was primarily for Dark Champions.

Lots of good research for an oriental flavored game. Some of the art is very good and useful. I found this very helpful and useful for an urban fantasy game with Asian community-based adventures (ala "Big Trouble in Little Chinatown").
The new, 6th edition Hero System Bestiary includes all of the creatures from this book.

Love the Hero Character Packs in general; Hero Designer is a great product, and the packs for it save a ton of time. This one has a lot of useful templates that save time with PC and NPC creation. I was disappointed that it didn't include the extensive gun and equipment list, but the description said so up front. In conjunction with the 6th edition character pack for the Hero System Equipment Guide, this works great for a Pulp game!

Best Champions adventure I've ever bought! Great art, maps, storyline, NPC write-ups, and an excellent adventure to begin a campaign.

Huge, incredibly thorough treatment of how to run a Pulp era game using the 5th Edition Hero System rules (which need to be purchased seperately). Guns, timelines, custom skills, tons of good advice to GM's and inspirational art.

Great b&w art from Bill Willingham! Older generation type rules, but great inspiration for making a game in the genre with any other, more advanced rpg system too. Nice maps and in general good, reusable art and a starter adventure.

Classic Champions adventure with great b&w art inside and fun time nostalgic feel for anyone who played earlier versions of the Champions super-hero game. Usable for later versions with minimal updates to the character write ups. Great starter game for a new campaign with potential team HQ and continuing NPC's.

Great book! Collects and updates creature write up from just about all the different 5th edition Hero System books and does great conversions and updates to 6th edition. I like to get my books in PDF, and a lot of the 5th edition books that this gathers creatures from were not available in PDF at all. Great value; good, detailed write-ups, nice illustrations, and good coverage of multiple genres as well as extra rules for custom hit locations and how to use for different genres.
