Honestly, with words like "Bundle" and "Deluxe Edition" in the title, I was expecting a lot more.
Perhaps it's not fair to expect too much from a $1.50 supplement, but I really didn't find much useful here. The whole thing pretty much added up to an ad for Campaign Cartographer 2 (which looks nice, if you're in the market for a mapping program). The CC2 versions may be fairly usable if that's what you're looking for, but really what I was excited by when I saw the product was the prospect of hand-drawn-looking treasure maps. That's where I was very let-down.
There was very little substance on the maps at all (one was literally just 4 items... like a tree, an "X", etc. with arrows going from one to another). I understand that someone sketching out a map to hidden treasure so they can find it again may not have a ton of time, or be a professional cartogropher, but I doubt a map that was that minimalized would be useful even to the person who drew it... much less a player/adventurer who found it.
I guess I was just let down by the lack of detail or artistry... even in the rudimentary sense... on the maps. It didn't look like anything that I couldn't have slapped together in 15 minutes or less (keeping in mind that I am ONLY referring to the hand-drawn maps here).

LIKED: CC2 looks fairly nice. It's very possible that this product could look more appealing to someone who has (or is in the market for) that program, or who wants some computer maps and has a way to fit them into their game world.

DISLIKED: I just didn't get much out of it. Maybe it was my fault for expecting something that wasn't the focus of the project... I don't know. But I wouldn't recommend buying this with the drawn-maps in mind.

QUALITY: Disappointing

VALUE: Disappointed
