Atomik Magic and Atomik Grimoire are excellent. They may repeat some of the material found in other generic supplements (GURPS, the Hero system), and the lack of an integrated setting may put some off (RuneQuest, for example), but if your system is lacking a basis for magic or the reasons for it or doesn't have spells, this is a great generic supplement to have. There are spells in the Grimoire you simply can't find anywhere (a sentient ball of flesh you can enter??).

This is one of the best treatments I have seen on magic in an RPG setting. With Atomik Magick you get a very good toolset to build your own customized magic system(s). This is a lot of work but it is worth it. Also the meta framework used to transport the work you have done to your RPG of choice is very well thought out. All in all someone spent a lot of time and brainpower on building an excellent product. I was looking for a magic system I could adapt for a homebrew game when I came across Atomik Magick. I was able to use it with a minimum of modification and have found it to be both flexible and scaleable, exactly the traits I was looking for. This is not some hastily thrown together PDF, Mr. Chase has obviously put a great deal of effort and thought into it. If you enjoy a particular gaming system but find the magic to be boring or confining (a problem I have with both 3E and GURPS), I would highly recommend looking at Atomik Magick.

A good bargain. Be warned this is a complicated supplement. While it looks fairly "universal" there are a number of assumptions built into the system that may not jibe with your concept of how magic works. Overall really interesting and I will definitely use it as a sourcebook for building magical systems in a campaign.

Outstanding product! Great for the experienced GM or game designer who's looking for a solid base on which to base his game's magic system. Lots of info that's easily used in any system - especially useful for the so-called "generic" RPGs - Savage Worlds, WEG D6, FUDGE, and GURPS. Definitely a "must have" for the serious game designer - highly recommended.

Excelent, well detailed and easy to translate into any other system. Even if you do not use any of the systems that this resource easily fits into I advise you pick it up.
