Hey, nice work! I like very much the flavor and feel of the class and the whole dragon servant theme, and generally the more dragon-themed stuff we have going around the better, at least for me.

The class seem to me like it could be a bit hit or miss for people given the approach to the draconic servant theme. I personally like it a lot, expecially the Final Fantasy/Bravely Default vibe I get from the dragoon, but I have a hint that is taste dependant. The class seemed quite strong and interesting to me, but I cannot completely judge it balance wise due to limited experience and ability to test it. However, I am quite in love with the concept, so I'll be sure to get the chance to test it soon. Keep up the good work,!

So, I player in my campaign has been using this class with great success. Not only I really hadn't had to change anything, I believe, and the experience was awesome. I really recommend this class, it's well balanced, well done, well written and very fun too!

I honestly have no words to describe how cool, creative and amazing this class is. I will be 100% allowing it within my game.

The mechanics and thematic ribbons for this class are just so freaking cool.

Amazing job!

This new class option for D&D 5th edition is a great new addition. The concept and flavor texts are great and really help to ground the new class in the setting.

The 3 Callings make for great variants, each with distinct features that improve on the core features of the class. You have the Dragoon, a high mobility ranged attacker that uses his surroundings to great effects; the Warblade, a master of high bursts of attacks to mow down his opponent; the Defender, a master tank that helps the party survive even the greatest of foes.

With each of these, you can transform for short burst of time into a dragon-hybrid, using your fly speed and resistances to have the biggest impact on the battlefield before you run out of energy, unleashing your elemental affinity (based on your Dragon Master) and mowing down opponents.

All in all, a great class that will give you a lot of fun and roleplay opportunities.

Also, Jodie is very responsive to feedbacks and questions :)

If you have a love for dragons that runs as deep as mine, then you'll love to play as this class. Being able to infuse weapons, become a dragon hybrid, and do cool stuff such as that just makes this class one of my all time favorites. I cannot wait to play it!

Well-developed and flavorful. I have an extremely difficult time, however, understanding how this is remotely balanced. The Dragon Attacks and hybrid transformation are cool and everything, but seem way too powerful as burst damage methods at low levels.

Rogues get 2d6 sneak attack at level 3, but are generally pretty squishy. At level 2 this class can have an inherent elemental resistance for its dragon patron, barbarian rage resistances for a turn, can fly for a turn, does a bit of additional damage on hit, and crits on rolls of 18-20.

Then, at level 3, can create a magical weapon and do a sweeping attack on any number of targets within 10 feet that does weapon damage plus 2d4 elemental damage. Or you can attack 3 enemies, each within 20 feet of the last with a thrown shield for weapon damage plus 2d4 damage. Or just one enemy twice for 2 * (weapon damage + 2d4) damage. Oh, by the way, you get +1 AC while able to do that first attack, or +2 if you choose to be able to do the second.

I get that the ability to pull off these types of attacks is limited, but you regain your resource on a short or long rest. Without even considering the numbers that'd come out of these calculations, it already seems broken. Needs balancing changes desperately.

This is a well written and complete additional PC class that I would present to my players in my next campaign. I found it balanced and rich in flavor. The subclass options do a great job of giving the player to pick from a "death from above" fighter, a whirling killer no one wants to stand near, or a defender that packs some surprising damage nobody was expecting.

I recommend any player and DM to not just pick a dragon color but to go ahead and build the chosen patron dragon out with a name, location, backstory and how this particular individual became his or her agent or servant.
