A decent selection of new underwater monsters for D&D 5th Edition. Note the product is clearly converted from Pathfinder, although it hides it better than most such conversions (outside of a few with more complicated mechanics than usual for 5th Edition). There are also a few minor formatting issues, but nothing that's a major problem. The toothwraith (featured on the cover) is probably the best monster of the lot, although the dracopus, harpoon weed, and sarcophagus clam aren't bad either. (The rest are adequate.) As a bonus, the product also includes a new (and Small-sized) aquatic character race, the piranha-man, which is OK. At $3.95 for just 9 pages of material, this is best purchased as part of a bundle or sale.

This product contains 11 pages of interesting and well-balanced ocean-based monsters for D&D 5e. The monsters range from CR1 to CR14 and all have excellent background information so that you can easily work them into your game. The layout and art in this book are also both excellent. Reading through the pages made ideas for how to use these monsters just leap into my head. 5e Menagerie: Oceans of Blood is a great product at a great price and if you do an ocean-based campaign, it's a must have. Add it to your cart, you won't be sorry.

Prepare yourself for some great monsters! From CR1 to CR14 there is something in this book for you! "But I'm not running an underwater or ocean setting" not a problem. The world we live on is 71% covered in water but there is more than enough of it that isn't ocean you can put these amazing monsters into. The art work is great, the balance is on point, and the range of difficulty is impressive. What you get for a mere $4 is well worth those four dollars. Do yourself a favor and buy this, if for no other reason than to be inspired to let your game get outside of the box. I promise the water is jsut fine ... and deadly!

This suplement adds some amazing undersea monsters to challenge your players. If you're running and under water campaign or if its a pirate campaing you're sure to find something in here that will tickle your fancy.

The monsters in here will challenge your players in amazing new ways. Finally a group of sea creatures beyond the normal fair that will have your PCs delightfully terrified, challenged, and saying, "What in the world was that oceanic terror?!" Every monster is amazingly detailed, the stats are balanced, the art is great, and the story behind each creature will have you staying out of the ocean for years to come. 6/5 stars.
