Ran this adventure for a party of five players a month ago as a replacement for Isle of the Abbey in our Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign. It was easily both their and my favourite chapter so far.

The three parts of the adventure each have their own distinct character and pace, ranging from murder mystery, point-crawl, and dungeon-delve. As a DM I thoroughly enjoyed running the cast of villains the adventure includes, appreciated the guidelines for running the villagers of Alkai-Tor, and was pleasantly surprised at how much of a thematic fit it was to our larger Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign. The hooks were solid too and I never had to point my players in the right direction.

In conclusion: the adventure is well-written, easy to run as is, and has a classic D&D feel to it that both new and experienced DMs and players will enjoy from start to finish.

The adventure is well written and offers an Against the Cult of the Reptile God experience. I'm just prepping right now but like what I see (5 stars). The maps are below the bar though with 3 different inside styles and 1 very simple overwiew map (2 stars).

Great Module. The combat situations were very well designed, they were just the right difficulty and had plenty of variety between the map layouts and a couple of mechanical twists without feeling too gimmicky.

I was playing solo because my current group has too big of a backlog to casually introduce more adventures, so I didn't keep track of of each NPCs opinions. However, it is a cool idea for making a village dynamically react to the player's actions.

Finally, the finale dungeon is well designed and is just the right length for this type of adventure.

The only thing DMs might need to change, depending on their party, is the new monster’s max HP. It’s low enough for some 5th level characters to take down in a single action, which might drain the tension if they did so while also going first in initiative. It’s a very slim chance so it probably just happened to me, it’s just something to keep in mind.

I ran this module some time ago for a group of 4 adventurers and found it to be extremely well written and enjoyable. It was easy to follow/run; a great adventure for a new DM or a DM that doesn't have a lot of spare time for prep. This was memorable. I highly recommend it.

I have run this adventure for a couple of groups. Both enjoyed the initial town fun - meeting the characters and learning more about the mystery. The temple itself was also very engaging and atmospheric. For whatever reason, the swamp chapter doesn't really come together, at least for me.

My party is just finishing this adventure up and they have really enjoyed it so far. It has many successful elements from investigating the mystery of the disappearances, meeting the inhabitatants of Alkai Tor, exploring a unique area landscape, finishing off with a great dungeon, wrapped all up in a great story. 5 stars!!!!!

I ran this adventure over 7 sessions.

The party really enjoyed it. If I have any feedback it is that the first section can be the most engossing. The party spent 4 sessions in the starting town. 1 in bog town and 2 in the temple itself.

All in all they had fun and the module slotted in nicely with my custom campaign.

Well worth it for any DM's running darker worlds or wanting an interesting and non archetypal adventure.

Temple of Shattered Minds is a fantastic adventure. The writing is descriptive and immersive, and pulls you into the adventure with the first few paragraphs. The plot of the story is easy to follow and equally grabbing, making an interesting story for the DM and PC's involved. The characters are in depth, three dimensional but allow for plenty of room based upon player interaction for the DM to fill in the characters themselves and make them feel unique.

The art runs the gamut from the explosively colourful and fantastic cover art, emotive character portraits and simple motifs that hold the adventure together. The maps inside the adventure are easy to read, as well as come in a zip folder for easy use in long distance parties.

The only downside I could see is that the adventure does beg for effective roleplaying. Strong roleplaying on the parts of both the DM and the PC's and keeping track of multiple NPC's opinions, and demand active interest. It begins by stating it is a multiple session adventure, which should equally warn those parties who prefer the Friday Night Monster style of play.

A solid 9/10. Temple of Shattered Minds is a fantastic adventure with deep and compelling story and extensive work is clear in the end result. a Must Grab.

Very Nice Job Sir! I really appreciate the tremendous effort you put into this adventure. You've made is easy for me to adapt to the various (often off-the-wall) decisions the party can make. Lots of fruit for me to pick from this one. Thanks. I'll keep an eye out for any your future work.
