Don't buy. Specialist priests are great, and that why it breaks my heart that this product is very disappointing. Not having a preview (always a warning sign), I took the risk to buy it anyway. Well, it's very vacuous. Every god gets a feat: 75% of the time this is one cantrip and two domain spells, and that's it. There are two problems with this: first, it's weak for a feat (you're better off taking the magic initiate over this), second, it has the prerequisite of cleric which defeats the whole point: in 5e, every class (with the acolyte background) should be able to acquire the feat and get some use from them.
Now, advice: the Auril and Talona feats are decent and flavorful, so for rewriting feats, these are a good starting point.
Specialist Priests are awesome and easy to convert, as it's just creating a feat and adapting 'Faiths and Avatars'. I will happily pay for a thorough product doing just that; this product ain't it though.
