Positive: The spells here are fun, flavorful, and well-considered. Any spellcasting character should love to have these options available. This would be a particularly fun set of spells for a necromancer character, especially one who liked to rain hellfire on her enemies. The art chosen is a great piece, and it is good to see well-chosen art from the public domain.
Negative: The presentation could be improved. The article name "Spells" does not tell us anything about this product. Perhaps something flavorful like "Necromancer's Journal: 15 New Spells" or even just "15 New Spells." Some consideration to formatting may also help; many spell names are followed by a colon, while some are not. Following a formatting closer to the Player Handbook's may be helpful in creating a cleaner presentation. Even thought the spells are basically clear and very useable, it would be nice to run this document by an editor familiar with the technical language of D&D.
Overall: A fun article, especially for DMs, players, and campaigns more open-minded to necromancers. Even though the presentation isn't stunning, I would not hesitate to let my players give this supplement a try. Looking forward to future updates!
