Not only are these dragons rich with flavor but they are 100% fleshed out and balanced with percision. Every player expects to encounter a white dragon in a snowy mountain, but a blizzard dragon would blow their d6s off. To top it off, the written lore states these dragons hate Chromatic dragons so DMs let your imaginations run wild with how a chromatic dragon encounter could evolve into something more harrowing as a catastrophic dragon joins the fray.

This work is fun and professional, what more do you need?

It says dragons, but really these are titanic forces of nature. These are more in line with the Tarrasque, and that's fantastic.

If you need a large, high CR, monsterous monster, this is the supplement you'll want.

One of the bestdragon collections I've seen to date.Great flavour, spread, I love these andI plan to use them in my campaign. A few suggestions though, I think some of the INT scores are a bit high, and additionally in my personal opinion, the earthquake dragon should not have a flight speed

If you want some non-standard dragons then look no further!. Great range of dragons for mid-high level games, be your games regular or those with a strong elemental theme. Good use of black/white and color artwork to give the feel of the creatures, information on the creatures is thorough.

I took a chance on this and I was pleased. The author is incredibly faithful to the 4e Catastrophic Dragons while at the same time balancing them for 5e play. If you like dragons or elementals, you should purchase this.

So much crunch here for however much you want. I don't always love the formatting but the liberal use of imagery counteracts it for me. Also always nice to have a non-standard dragon to throw at the PCs.

Very good monsters! Solid mechanics—everything I've come to expect from James' work on worldbuilderblog and on EN5ider. Some small typos can be found, "Auqan" instead of "Aquan," "burrow 15ft." instead of "15 ft.," but these don't distract from the quality of the dragons. I'd prefer some tighter formatting, such as the colored border of the stat blocks being in-line with other text columns, and less blurry pictures.

This supplement definitely plays it safe; all dragons fall into the age category/CR mold we've seen in the Monster Manual, but mechanics like their Catastrophic Aura keep things fresh. I'm looking forward to more creatures!

This looks well put together. I'm thinking about using the young volcanic dragon instead of the young red dragon in Princes of the Apocalypse's Weeping Colossus area.
