If you are looking for a bunch of Shapeshifter critters - either to give a taste of the unnatural to your game, or compliment an existing horror/ravenloft style game then this is it. In this document are eight of the scariest creatures you'll ever see, especially when you consider that thing in front of you was Human (or similar) once. The artwork & layout is good, along with a balance of description and stats. Whether you add them into the Selune or Malar cults of Forgotten Realms, or insert them into your homebrew campaign, this is a great range of creatures here will delight and shock your players.

Best range of traps outside of the Dungeon Masters Guide. Information is well laid out and easy to use. Black/White artwork throughout the document adds to the ye olde flavor. DM's could use 5 of these traps in a campaign, or all 20. The traps range from classics like Crushing Room to new traps like the Grasping Arms.

This is the best collection of backgrounds outside of the Players Handbook. This collection of backgrounds really adds to the feel of a diverse magical-fantasy middle ages world. With mundane options like Cook and magically effected options like Polymorphed, there's something to interest everyone.

The Alchemist is a base class with 7 career path options-a great addition for any 5th ed game. The base class and each career are balanced, and each would easy fit into the style of Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk or homebrew campaign worlds, adding to the variety without dominating the game. The document is thorough while still being easy to read. If you are only going to use the PHB and one supplement, use this one!

Ye gods is there a huge amount of spells in here or what!?! Great stuff I say!. Spells for all levels and not just for wizards either, spells for assassins, druids, priests and rangers. Also the spells have a full range of purpose, so this is a huge addition of spells for everyone in any d20 fantasy game. Easy to read, well indexed. This should keep your spellcasting gurus happy until we all retire to a gaming old folks home.

Miss the good old days of kicking down doors and slaying a dozen monsters pausing only long enough to smile at the camera before looting the room and moving on? well Rappan Athuk is for you! Plenty of beasties in this room filled dungeon extravaganza. Should take your characters from low to mid level with enough loot to buy a run down kingdom before the next convienent monster invasion. Late nights, junk food and Rappan Athuk for me thanks!
