This document meets what I would consider the bare minimum for a document template. First, it is a MS Word document file, not an actual Word template file (.dotx), admittedly a small issue that can be resolved by the individual user by doing a Save As. But, something that should have already been done.
Next is the almost complete lack of descriptive use instructions. For instance, "Core Body" is the only meaningful instructions for 3 different text types, and each of these have their own Style. Of concern in this case is the "Core Body" following Heading styles 1 & 2 when compared to "Core Body" under the "Core Stat" under Heading 3. The first mentioned set use font TeX Gyre, but the second uses font Junction. Why are these different fonts? Why use one vs the other?
How about the use of the Inline Subhead? One has a paragraph indent and the other does not. When should which be used?
Along with these issues are inconsistencies with the font styles. Take a close look (use the Style Inspector) to look at the two "Core Body" entries under Headings 1 & 2, one of them is scaled 98% and the other is not. Why?
Numerous unused defined Styles; Looking at the Style palette, there are 50+ styles defined. Not that many are used, nor should their be that many. Why confuse people with having so many available?
Finally, there should be examples. Especially important for the Stat Block entry. Laying out a creature as simple as an acolyte would go a very long way to helping make DMsG content consistent.
