Play through the whole series or play this one as a side-quest for your group, the adventure is enough for any DM to keep their PCs on their toes! This was a lot of fun to explore and play. The encounters were highly memorable and has potential for replay.

This adventure is a great way to get the party started! It's easy to DM and it's fun for the PCs. We had a party of 4 lvl 1 & 1 lvl 2 party members and we went through it very easily. We also have several years playing D&D games. However, this is a great way to introduce an arch-nemesis given a few simple changes that any experienced DM can easily do.
Truthfully, my thought is that The Mage's Tower was so well-written that if THIS is available as "Pay What You Want" it makes me wonder what I would get if I bought a premium adventure!!

This was a terrific game to play at our table! I've already ran it twice and every time it's been a completely uniquely amazing and different experience! There's enough content to not let the beginner DM think too much, but there is also enough "wiggle room" for the experienced DM to add in their own flair. I highly recommend this to all levels of experience as an add-on adventure to your own campaigns.
The author really knows how to put the Deutsche in DnD!!!

This was an awesome pick-up game for our podcast "DnD in Big D." Honestly we had no idea what we were gonna play and the cover art looked appropriate to the weather outside.
We first thought it was gonna be a typical "let's go slaughter a monster!" scenario. Then we were quite enjoyably surprised when we found out it was a murder mystery!! The written format was a little clunky (we're kinda used to having compartmentalzed columns of info with the adventures that we run), but that one little gripe is very minimal compared to all of the sleuthing that the group did throughout the 2 hours of us recording the adventure! We REALLY enjoyed playing this and I'm gonna introduce this to many other DnD tables that I have the privilege of DMing.
You should be very proud of what you have here! We'll reach out when the episode goes live.
Job Well Done!

I formed a TTRPG group at my work. We play over our lunch break and this was our first adventure. This was super-easy to pick up and start playing without a ton of prep time (which works well in our office). I spent MAYBE 15 minutes going over the details of the encounters and NPCs. The best part was when after the first time they lost Honor Points, everybody quickly shaped up and one of them said "we don't know what's waiting for us, so let's not lose any more unless we absolutely have to, ok?"
I've bragged about this one on social media, it's so well done!
Great job!

I like that it was pretty quick to get a first-time PC to pick it up and go! This is great for those that want to try their experimental Race/Class combinations. The difficulty isn't too hard and it's definitely not a stroll in the park either!

This is a good "starter kit" for those who are just beginning their Adventure Writing. Well done!
