More troubling is the second book (of the three in this product) has all of the pages in reverse order--in other words the first page is page 32 and the last page is page 1. This PDF, like most all of the PDFs from WotC, is secured and does not permit alteration, so you just have to live with reading book 2 in reverse.

Rating: Fair (because it has searchable text, it's only saving grace).

The scan isn't the greatest (especially the village map), but it is legible and usable. I appreciate being able to get a physical copy for a reasonable price. This iconic adventure is 4 stars only because of quality issues, otherwise, 5 stars would be a given. Fortunately I also purchased the pdf, and if they ever get an updated (cleaned up) map of the village, I'll at least have that coming my way via the automatic updates through their DTRPG desktop app.

The printing and binding are great! Unfortunately, it shipped in an oversized box and banged up the corner of the binding (there was a Rules Cyclopedia in that shipment that suffered a similar fate--ugh!). I don't understand how a book printing company doesn't have appropriately sized boxes to ship books in, but such is the case. The quality of the printing job is top-notch and that makes up for it to some extent, otherwise this would have a 5-star rating.

The cover printing was very dark, and the interior printing was sepia instead of the expected black. On the positive side, the PDF that I purchased with it had been corrected for the typos that are present in the scan copy that is printed. I love this adventure, but the printed copy was not very good for the reasons I noted above; otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.
