Great content for filling in the white space in documents. I used a few pieces of art from this and other resources to add flavor and a visual aspect to the written text in my DMG product.

If you are looking for images of a tiger, a pack of wolves, a polar bear or a shark or another mondane animal or dinosaur, don't get this pack, these are very weird creatures. I was expecting some great art for animals and dinosaurs and beasts from the Monster Manual.

Art sells product, and this gem is free. There is no such thing as too much art to choose from.

There appear to be two styles of DMs Guild Creator Resource Art Packs: This one, where the images are named accurately and are high quality, but in smaller quantity and not source-referenced, and ones like: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/259382/DMs-Guild-Creator-Resource--Allies--Enemies-Art where the images are named inaccurately and lower quality, but in greater quantities and reference their sources.

I'd love the two styles to combine and be the best of both. Also to have the artists credited!

This is a mysterious choice by WotC.

Apple releases all manner of powerful APIs for their developers to use for their App Store which has created a billion dollar business for them.

In a similar way, you would think WotC would release all manner of useful digital resources to power the value of their online module store.

We expected this to contain all the beasts into which a druid could wildshape.

Instead here are the creatures: Girallon, Kruthik, Krenshar, Inferno Spider, Howler Wasp, Spark Lasher, Dread Ram, Yeth Hound, Frost Worm, Frost Salamander, Mad Slasher, Arrowhawk, Shocker Lizard, Yrthak, Harpoon Spider, Giant Strider.

Nothing signficant from the Monster Manual.

It is good it is free as this will rarely be used by any module author.

It would be great to see WotC use the playbook that Apple, Google, Amazon and others have used to build their businesses: release great digital assets for your community of content developers.

The DMs Guild Creator Resource - Beast Art is worth the download to see if it contains anything you're looking for. I may not be the main audience for the art, and I generally don't like the art in the books for the grimness, so I didn't end up using anything from here.

PRO:

• free stock images of some D&D monsters (can't really complain about that)
• great reference for usage during games to give players a visual idea of what they're fighting
• well done artwork makes the visual references easy to understand

CON:

• the artists aren't credited (this is surprisingly, frankly, because crediting artists is just good and responsible business practice)
• the monsters are mostly all out-dated and often unusable except as skins in 5e
• there are not many monsters in a pack (but you can't really argue with free)

A great little piece of resource to use in your products. The images are high resolution and look awesome!

Monster art from old manuals given for free to the community of creators. Simply wonderful. Now I hope someone will make a Thoqqua conversion. I always liked that little guy.

A great set of 21 colour images. There are only three images that a just different sizes of the same beast.

The artwork included in this pack is excellent, though a little esoteric. I was expecting more mundane/natural creatures.
