The POD is high-tier in my opinion, but this is one of two modules I've ordered to print-on-demand so I'm not the most experienced. Maybe there are other ways to print it to be more authentic to the original release, yet I think it is still incredibly functional & nice to view/read. The maps in particular are splendid & really space-out the world in an orderly fashion (orderly for Wonderland anyhow). I have a few friends whom all love Alice in Wonderland & I can't wait to stomp on our childhood with the module's familiar but bloodthirsty characters (:

Mediocre POD quality, far from the worst I've see and always very legible black levels are not properly set so text appears as a midlde grey and this hurts readability, hex maps at the end haven't had white level properly set and cleaned up so they look sloppy with scan artifacts.

This feels like a step back in quality for text from the OCR'd PDF version distributed for free by WotC in the early 2000's, however part of that could be lack of contrast in the black levels. The maps in that version lack scan artifacts but are heavily compressed compromising the quality in its own way and probably for the worst. It just would have been nice to see the work put into cleaning up this module before POD publication.

I'd like to start off by saying that the quality of the scan and print copy I received were very good. The physical material definitely delivered on my expectations.

Having said that the adventure itself fell short of what I was hoping for, and what I recalled from back in the day. I was looking for more of a 'Wonderland' feel and although Dungeonland touched on that in retrospect that was more fullfilled by EX2 The Land Beyond The Magic Mirror.

Originally conceived as a side-quest to a larger dungeon adventure, from that point of view Dungeonland delivers some interesting encounters and with the right DM and group can be really fun. Definitely requires some work to make it useful for 5e but worth it for either Wonderland or Gary Gygax enthusiasts.
