Happy with the purchase.Again,the fold out map is cut up and bound within the book and the scan can be a bit hazy.However, hardcore D&D'ers can benefit from purchasing these.

Just received my print on demand copy and I'm very pleased with it.

A fine resource, but the reprint's quality is quite low. The text is hazy - - as if machined-copied from the source rather than reformatted and edited anew.

Like all the basic D&D GAZ collection, this is a background/setting-rich product with only a little in the way of new mechanics (the rare dwarf cleric most notably). If you want to develop on your Dwarf PC's, or just learn their place in the world, it's a fine book. Otherwise it is only a novelty, or something to fill the collection.

Everything you wanted to know about Dwarves but were afraid you would get an answer for. If you run in the basic world, this is a must have for the dwarves.
