Awesome! Having grown sick of the complications of 3e, I'm going back to the beginning. It's very, very cool that WoTC and RPGNow have teamed up to bring it back. This is real D&D!
This is one of the all time great modules. Any DM who hasn't read this adventure, whether you're planning to run it or nor, can gain a great deal from it. This is pure adventure without all the "realistic" nonsense that's ruining RPGs.
Very, very cool! Just the NPCs alone are worth more than the purchase price. Then, there's the miniature scale map of the inn. If you DM and prefer to spend your time creating dungeons, this is a great product to have.
This is a handy tool for Basic D&D DM's. However, the purpose of the shield is kind of lost unless you have a large format printer or some other way to stand the pages up. Nevertheless, for DM's, the pages are handy even as "ready reference" sheets.
Ever wonder if you're doing it right? My dungeon maps had evolved (devolved?) so far over the last 25 years that I was convined I was doing something wrong. This product confirmed it. If you want to see how dungeons were originally supposed to look, this is very cool product.
Another super-handy old product from TSR. Having this product in your DMing arsenal will free up time that would otherwise be spent on "filler" encounters. Using this, you can concentrate on the important stuff.
