I bought the pdf of this in order to more easily use the maps and art for online play, instead of scanning them from the bound, printed hardcover. I shouldn't have bothered. The quality of the graphics in the pdf is pretty bad. Straight lines are pixelated and text on maps is difficult to read. Not impossible to read, but not of a quality worth $9.99.
The main text renders fine, so if you want it for that, fine, but as indicated above I already have the original hardcover.
I don't know what you'll get in terms of graphic quality if you buy the print on demand version here, but based on the pdf I'd suggest tempering your expectations.
