What I especially like with these sets are the "extras". They really make the vyllage scene come alive. This set has a low stone wall that you can make, an outhouse, and doors and windows on the buildings are moveable. The church can also be used for a princely palace, or a fancy townhall administrative type building. The set offers versatility, within limits, but I've had a lot of fun with them. As buildings to set up a diorama go, I think these COLOR sets are great. Especially for beginners. The colors are good, as are the details. Their construction is fairly straight forward and simple, but with enough extras to keep them from being boring: for example, roof top or side chimneys, steps with and without rails, plain or fancier roofs, ornate gates and brick fences, etc. You can add this, or take away that, to make new buildings. Highly recommended.

What I especially like with these sets are the "extras". They really make the vyllage scene come alive. This set has a greenhouse and potting shed, and gargoyles to stand at the columns of the wizards tower, which is very cool. The signs for the buildings are separate, so if you want to call the building something else, you can. If not, you can put the sign where ever you want. I do wish the extra signs included with the set were different from the extras offered in the other sets, but that's a small thing. This set offers a variety of characters to populate your village, plus animals and an extra building. I was looking for characters for the adventurers to interact with while in town to buy supplies, eating, drinking, and to hear rumors from, and these offer some good options. My only wish would be to have more choices: for example, to have three or four bakers to choose from, different apple sellers, a biger variety of guards. That would make them more useful for when my adventurers go into different towns. I can name them something else, but they look the same. Still, overall, it is a great set and I have had fun with them. And I very much appreciate the fact that the guards, etc, are not just repeats of one picture. They are in different poses to show a difference in them. I very much like that.

Their construction is fairly straight forward and simple, but with enough extras to keep them from being boring: for example, inset doors, side chimneys, or an extended entrance like is on the Orc & Cleaver. The swine herders place also has a chicken coop, an outhouse, and pigs. The signs for the buildings are separate, so if you want to call the building something else, you can. This tile set offers trees and wilderness that your adventurers can hide in, sleep under, cut for firewood, or just get some shade from the sun. This set also has a couple of tiles with ruins, one with a large boulder, one with one tent and campfire, and one with 3 tents and a campfire. The only thing I would like to see more of with the wilderness tiles are more boulders, cliffs, and mixture of rocky, hilly, and mountainous terrain. Maybe in a future tile set?
I am a big fan of the e-Adventure tiles. They offer wide versatility, from large and sprawling, to small and contained, especially when used with other tile sets. I also like having the thumbnails of the tiles that are provided to make my planning and design easier. They have been very useful to me in many ways. The way the tile sets can be used with each other is a big bonus. I'm collecting all of them. The possibilities are endless.

This tile set offers plenty of trees and wilderness to go with the path set, or to stand alone as unknown territory. The trees offer hiding places for animals and bandits, and firewood for campfires. A couple of the tiles have some old ruins to explore, and two of the bonus tiles have cave entrances. What I really liked about this set, though, was the one tile that has tents and a campfire. I love being able to lay down a tile of a camp when it's time for the adventurers to get some sleep. But how safe are they out in the wilderness? Hmmmm.

The wilderness paths are, as usual from e-Adventure, great. There are a variety of tiles that include straight paths, curved, crooked, and through and around trees. They also include forks in the road, and 3 and 4 path connecter tiles. A couple of bonus tiles take the path by a pond and up to a castle/tower entrance. I really liked these because the adventure of getting to a place is as important to me as the place itself. When used with other tile sets, there are plenty of places to hunt for food, have aquatic encouters, graveyard encouters, etc.

I like the graphics and color of the details. This set includes cave stairs, bridges, chambers where living quarters have been set up, fire circles, crates and barrels and much more. I find the set sparks my imagination for adventures and encounters, outlaws hiding, etc. The details are are well thought out and very useful.

Challenging to build. It took me two tries, but I really think it was worth the effort. I love the graphics detail. I've had some problems with keeping the tower floors in place, but that may just be me. I was new to building cardstock at the time. But I like the way the inside of the tower is accessible for game play. I also had a little trouble figuring out how things glued together. Be patient, and fit peices together before gluing to know how they fold and fit. The instructions were not as clear as I would have liked, but I still recommend the tower.

This was really handy for me since I did not have broadband at the time. I had no problems with the CD and have printed off dozens of copies of all the stuff I ordered, plus the freebies they sent. I would recommend this.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
