Microtactix is my favorite producer of cardstock scenics and this set of color figures is one of their best. It isn't a collection of heros or villians but instead the average villagers in a fantasy setting. They are updated and color version of the figures in the margins of the original B&W Vyllage sets and exhibit the sense of mild humor common to Microtactix without getting cutsy. Also included is an addition full color building to Add to the 6 Color Vyllage sets.

One of the bargains from Microtactix. They are not only in color, but they include animals as well as numerous types of townfolks. The building is also in color but does not include an interior.

This set offers a variety of characters to populate your village, plus animals and an extra building. I was looking for characters for the adventurers to interact with while in town to buy supplies, eating, drinking, and to hear rumors from, and these offer some good options. My only wish would be to have more choices: for example, to have three or four bakers to choose from, different apple sellers, a biger variety of guards. That would make them more useful for when my adventurers go into different towns. I can name them something else, but they look the same. Still, overall, it is a great set and I have had fun with them. And I very much appreciate the fact that the guards, etc, are not just repeats of one picture. They are in different poses to show a difference in them. I very much like that.

A great selection to help flesh out your village scenes, lots of NPCs to interact with. The art was good and they looked great when printed out.

Nice artwork as far as that goes. I don't understand why you go to the trouble to do a half-assed job. When the product discription says full color I expect font and back color. You product discription is very misleading.<br><br>
<b>LIKED</b>: nice artwork, nice selection, as far as that goes.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: Should be full color back and front, that is what I expected based on the product information. I don't like negitave surprises. Why didn't you finish the job. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Disappointing<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Disappointed<br>

I really liked these minis. They are cheap, which in my opinion is perfect for townsfolk or other npc's that are only seen occasionally.<br><br>

The product name says it all. They are cheap paper minatures for all those people that you just dont have a mini for. They worked great in my game.

I would have liked to have seen B&W as well as color in this set. As my printer is not up to printing color figures I went to a printers. The end result was very good, but I would like to have both B&W and Color in the same set.

This is a nice set of miniatures that includes a figure for just about anyone you would find in an average fantasy village. The variety is great and many of them could be used by PCs to represent their character. There are 83 different figures that include Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Humans and Orcs. There are also 19 animal figures. When you consider the fact that you can print or copy as many pages of these figures as you want, this is really a great bargain. I highly recommend this set to anyone that wants to add the flavor of miniatures to their game but does not want to spend their time or money on metal figures.

Very nice set. If you're in need of a bunck of just-plain-old-folk be sure to get this one.

Certainly much cheaper than metal miniatures. The quality is good, but not as much detail as the original (Steve Jackson) version.
Also, only three pages of this seven page document contains villagers. The other four are, instructions (1), farm animals (1), and a building (2). Which makes this a little pricey compared to the bound version, which comes with a lot more "people".
Still, the variety is good and makes up for some of the important people not in other sets (now not everyone the PCs meet carries a weapon, yeah!). And you can print as many copies as you need.

I love paper minis, and the Vyllagers are no exception. There's a huge variety, and the color makes them really nice. They're well-drawn, many are quite humorous, and you can populate a town with them. The church house that comes with the kit is very well done, and my kids immediately made it a priest's home. It took less than an hour for us to assemble this entire kit, and they look fantastic.

Utility is what this set is all about. It isn't every day that you come across such a nice selection of common folk miniatures. You get everything from peasants to merchants to swindlers and the undertaker. And don't forget the livestock! Horses, cows, bulls, goats, donkeys, sheep, and some wolves to prey on them. And to top it all off, they threw in the cool Church House.
