Like the others who wrote in about this, my first impressions were generally quite posative.
I too would have liked to see more detail on the contruction of the spellbooks, suggested histories and enchantments <always an underrated aspect of any grimoire!>. However this is a -very- well-written and inexpensive product, so I can't really complain.
On the other hand, I'd have appreciated a few more spells not available on the web or from published sources, as well as possibly a few suggestions for 'spellbooks' of a less standard nature. Grimlock stone spindles? Spellgems? I'm all for going non-Vancian, where possible.
Overall, I'd reccomend this author's work highly! I'm looking forward to his 'Codex Mechanus' next month as well.
