An excellent piece of work. The maps are of superb quality and what?s here can be easily placed into any city and/or campaign.

Another excellent product from Darkfuries! The seven floorplans range from a humble peasant's house to a large citadel, with great attention to detail. It's ideal for the GM that needs to quickly dish up a building-based adventure. Each building has both GM maps and player handouts. A very nice feature is that the player handouts are carefully designed to obscure any hidden areas, without giving anything away.

An interesting addition to this map set is a collection of D20 creatures inhabiting each building. However, it's probably of little practical use, as I generally prefer to populate such maps with my own story-based NPCs.

Unlike the "Castles and Keeps" set by the same artists, numbered room descriptions are not included. The map art generally makes it possible to deduce the purpose of most areas though, or to leave it to the creativity of the GM.

Hi! Thanks very much for your comment. I'm glad that you are enjoying the Darkfuries products. I'm sure you'll find this eventually, but I wanted to let you know - There are area descriptions included in this product. The name of the building in the table of contents frame (just above the link to the NPC personalities) links to the area descriptions. All the best, Brian K. Moseley bmoseley@darkfuries.com

A lot of detailed maps usefull pour RPG adventures. My only complain is that the "pictures resolution" is a little too low so I can't zoom when I print the maps. On the same way, some one inch maps would have been usefull too !

These floorplan sets have been among the most useful e-items I have used in my games.

This entire line of products from Darkfuries is an excellant set of tools for busy GM's. Now, if I need a floorplan, or even part of one, I can just yank these out of my harddrive, print them off if neccessary, and I'm ready to go. I can come up with descriptions and such on the fly, but a well-thought-out or designed floorplan is not something I can improvise well. These fit the bill.

Thanks, Darkfuries. I await your next set of floorplans. :D

These and the other floor plans were nice but I thought that I could print them in a 1" grid scale. They are not very helpful otherwise.

Just what I was looking for. Now I spend more time creating my adventure and less on floorplans.

Overall, pretty nice. This is pre-d20, so that's a big plus for me (dont' play d20, so all the new d20 'stuff' for the newer floorplans from Darkfuries is a waste of money for me). Biggest complaint I have is that on every single floorplan is a "number" (like "#1439903.gif"), and a copyright notice. I dont' want to stare at these in game, so I have to manually open the floorplans in a paint/photo program and remove them before I print.

This is a great product for any GM who is pressed for time. (Aren't we all?) The maps are clear, creative, and easily convertible to uses beyond those implied by the title. Separate GM versions of the maps hide the secret details from the players, and the color maps are a great bonus. This is definitely worth your money if you need generic floorplans. Of the four Darkfuries map collections, this one (IMHO) is the best by a narrow margin.

On a side note, the customer support is good, also. I had a minor problem with my system that Brian Moseley was able to help me resolve in less than fifteen minutes, first e-mail to last.
