An interesting little book. Full of all sorts of necromantic fun. There are spells, some creatures, an NPC and magic items. There are also some new races and a bunch of background material on these necromancers. I bought it for the spells and the monsters.

This book has some very good material, however the overall theming is entirely too strong. A little less about Gar'Udok and more generic info would greatly help. Still if it's on sale it is a good buy. Just don't expect much except a fan book of one character.

Great source material for both GM and player. If you play a necro this is a must!

I recently remember taking part in a debate about what is the best type of RPG source material: Crunch or story. It's highly debateable, of course, but my answer at that point was crunchy story.

The Compleat Librum ov Gar'Udok's Necromatic Artes delivers this. It has a compelling story (you can tell by just the name, can't you?) and rock solid stats (if you have any of the Librum Equitis books, you know what I'm talking about), and beautiful art.

The crunch content is bigger than the story content, but that is not to say there isn't enough story. In fact, there's story in abundance. You need a necromatic villain, complete with backstory? You've got it. You want more undeadness (this is a new word I just invented) in your campaign? Then you'll love this.

A great sourcebook for necromancers. I've used the material in this along with rules for necromancers from larger publishers without and troubles. If you're looking for some new, twisted necromantic bits for your games you should grab this PDF.

Fun and interesting. I liked this so much I bought it in paper when they came out with the compilation. The new spells add much needed power and dimension to the school of necromancy.

This was a great little book with a lot of good ideas, and well worth the cost. I highly recommend this or any other M. Jason Parent book to anyone!

This is quite different than Librum Equitis vol 1 - being stuffed full of cool flavour text, amazing artwork, sample characters and a storyline...

But, it's still filled to overflowing with CRUNCHY BITS!

Wow, pages and pages of evil...plus it's dedicated to Realms of Evil. :)

What more could I ask for? The art is excellent, almost 3D..yet not quite computer generated. The content is excellent, too...filled to the brim with necromantic crunchy bits too good to pass up.

Such things as the Crypt Angel, Disease Golem, and the Poison Golem make this book a necessity for any GM wanting to add that special undead-esque touch to their campaign.
