As is to be expected of Blackdyrge, this is a very impressive bestiary. My only complaint is that it's too short. The monsters are very detailed with a strong and yet fairly generic backstory. If you want samples of Blackdyrge's beasties, check this thread at ENWorld http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=44315. I can't wait for further volumes in this series to come out.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Monster backgrounds are detailed, but they're easy to adapt to even fairly nonconventional settings.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: The artwork didn't impress me.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

I was very disappointed with this PDF. The formatting was awkward. Too much of the book was taken up with prestige/alternate classes. The magic items have great descriptive text, but not much in the way of game statistics. I?ve looked at this PDF many times hoping to find something to use in my games, but I?ve always come away empty-handed.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: Some of the feats are okay, but they're not worth bringing the book along.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Poor<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Ripped Off<br>

This PDF is a very interesting read. It would be particularly useful if a PC wants to work with poisons, as I tend to gloss over a lot of the fine details for NPCs. I really appreciated the Arcana Unearthed/Evolved conversion notes. They were a big factor in my decision to buy this PDF. <br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: I was a little bit disappointed in the low fortitude saves for most of the poisons as my ?tank? player would shrug most of them off with no effort. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

The factions described in this PDF are very evocative. I plan to use a number of them even in non-planar campaigns. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>

I thought I was use this more than I have. It's a very well-done and useful-looking product. I've spent more time trying to organize the cards than using them. No matter what I try, I can't seem to find the cards I need quickly enough to use them at the table. I've basically given up on using these and I'm going to stick to using index cards and writing in the stats by hand.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: It's a very well-done and useful-looking product.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: I've spent more time trying to organize the cards than using them. I was looking for pictures for my kids to color. This is a cute enough book but mostly kids would be just as well off drawing their own monsters.

This could be very useful for populating a city and making it come alive. I fear I'm not up to this level of detail in my games yet.

This book provides a very detailed description of how a magical world can be built. For someone who wants to build their own world from the ground up, it's a very valuable resource.

This product has an amzing number and variety of templates. It would be very useful to make every encounter unique (and to prevent metagaming).

I bought several different map and tile sets to evaluate them. SkeletonKey Games' set is by far the best. It easy to work with and very adaptable. It works nicely with all kinds of printers. Highly recommended

I found this to be a very interesting look at how magic would affect a medieval society. It was a little dry and geared towards automatic generation. Definitely a good place to look for ideas, though a few stories or viginettes illustrating the concepts would have been nice.

The illustrations are very nice, but too specific. I can't picture using them for more than one specific locale per campaign. The artwork was a little blurry when I printed it out, which detracted from it as well. I would suggest SkeletonKey Games' tiles instead as a more reusable alternative.

This product delivers exactly what is promised. Nothing more, nothing less. Useful if you're looking for generic flooring to cut or use for floorplans.

Very useful, particularly for fleshing out NPC organizations and individuals within those organizations. This will give you the tools to better describe how NPCs interact with others, be they PCs or other NPCs

Detailed floorplans. I would not recommend using them for miniatures as one castle took over 100 pages when converted to 25mm scale. Admittedly, I did this via a script so the page usage may have been less than optimal, but that's still a lot of pages. The maps are very nicely put together and could be used for a handout or just as a guide for the GM.
