Playing with those green plastic Army Men was a precursor to my tabletop wargaming. Reivaj has worked very hard to make this 'modern' (ok, historical) set as awesome as his fantasy sets. The same care and level of detail are brought to Reivaj's U.S. Rangers. These will fit nicely into any WW2 or Weird War game you are running. The poses are fluid and natural as per Reivaj's style. Nicely conceived and executed. One quibble was the lack of a heavy weapon such as a Machine Gun or Bazooka. I guess that will be in the next set. Can't wait!

Create an army of angels in no time. These are terrific statues for use in fantasy, modern, historical or even sci fi. Don't blink!

Whether it's to flesh out a boneyard or play out an encounter against gargoyles this set has a wonderful collection of terrain and game pieces. The excellent angel statues could be used for a particular time travelling character game from time to time.
Excellent work and well worth the bargain price.

I was curious about how the author would approach the mechanics of old school D&D and still apply it to a modern, futuristic sensibility and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was very well done and looked very playable. Cheeky and light-hearted at its core, the game looks like fun to run and even more fun to play. Specifically the alien character creation is brilliant. There is enough detail to make it interesting and it's simple enough that you won't be upset rolling up a new character once yours has been sucked out another airlock. The spaceship rules look great! I can't wait to jump in and build a few ships.
Psionics looks like a lot of fun as well.
There is also a really well thought out section on running games and playing games that has some really good advice, but without being too preachy or taking itself too seriously.
A sense of humour is a must for this game to be enjoyed.

This game can be played over and over again and kept fresh every time. There is lots of variety with characters and baddies alike. I think it would be more fun to play the baddies myself. They are inherently cooler.

This is a very impressive set, not just for the art (which is amazing), but for the easy to use in pdf layer system. Very innovative and well worth the price of admission.

This is really such an amazing set. I can't wait to use it for my next Pulp Sci Fi or Star Trek game as aliens.
Excellent work! I love the colour choices.
I will buy more of these sets as long as they are as cool as this one.

This set has really got me thinking about running Gamma World (or any other post apocalypse RPG).
Dave's work has really matured over the past few releases. This set is colourful and dynamic with figures that have some really great colouring and movement. I can't believe he does this without a computer! The detail is amazing and reads really well in table-top play.
The Rhinotaurs are so cool, but I love the Lizardman figure. The shading and colouring/patterns are mesmerizing and print off really well.
This is a really exciting turn for Grey Matter Games. I can't wait to see what comes next.

So amazingly goofy and cute!
This set suffers from having the figures dead set in the centre of the page and having a white background, but with a little photoshop magic, I had a page full of figures with black borders and even swapped out a few weapons. So much fun! I can't wait to launch these guys on my unsuspecting players in Dungeon Crawl Classics.

These figures are lovingly drawn and so much fun to put out on the table. Personally I drop them into Photoshop and give black borders, but that's a personal preference. I also print more minis than the original set on one page to save paper.
All of these sets are full of fun and character. This set is wonderful.

One thing that I really love about this set is the male and female versions of each class. That's brilliant!
My favourite figure would have to be the Female Human Warrior. I just love the dynamic action in that figure.
I am always looking to expand my figures for basic dungeon adventure character types. I love the classic / old school feel of these figures.

It is really very exciting to see a universe reveal itself before your eyes and that is exactly what this series of Era Of War minis appears to be doing. The more I find out about the background and game, the more intriguing it appears to me.
The standout figures in this set for me are the Dragon (Love the colour and size of the thing) and the Conscript (which is very well drawn). The Samurai is just bad-ass. He oozes power. Nicely done. Love the cel-shaded look of things.
This set also includes outdoor bases for those who want to have a consistent appearance. It's nice to switch up the bases to show factions or sides.
Keep up the good work!

It's one thing to make a set of very cool and badass minotaurs, it's a whole other level to create a codex and background for the figures. Reading the material gave me a whole new appreciation for Minotaur characters and options for RPG settings for both tactical wargames and role playing adventures.
The art is some of the best I've seen come from Grey Matter Games and it looks like the releases are just going to get better and better! I am eagerly anticipating release of more imaginative and creatively realized paper minis for my game table and the release of Era of War!

This is a wonderful first set from Grey Matter Games!
I really love the variety of figures and the fact that Wizards actually have some movement. They seem like they are doing something. I'm going to have great fun with the Hydromancers in my Call Of Cthulhu campaign and the Technomancer will feel right at home in a steampunk or Weird War campaign.
It's always great to see more spell casting miniature options!
I am looking forward to the next set. I"m sure it will be as innovative and dynamic as the first release.

What an excellent set of figures! I am excited to see what happens with Gods of Steam in future releases.
This set has great flexibility and can work as a straightforward Steampunk genre and can even migrate into Space Opera or Superhero or super spy campaign. I could easily see these as thugs for a villain.
Great work!
