Basically this game is a completely usable product, and very good for anyone even remotely familiar with Greek myth. Also fully usable with Savage Worlds. Really captures the Greek Mythos with the various gods messing around with each other by getting in the way of each other's heroes and cities/

I was very surprised at how much information was given in this preview. Basically you could make characters and go ahead and play them. You do not get the whole list of possible characters, and while the world map is given, you don't have the full details of the culture etc., but you are given far more than I expected. I had the original edition, and can see how much has been smoothed out and simplified.

I've got to admit that this looks like a professional product from the old TSR. All the details, good artwork, well set up pages and map. Very impressed.

Really good place to set an adventure, especially for thieves, though it doesn't have an adventure in itself. Very detailed blueprints, and descriptions.

While not all are good hooks dragging characters in, enough are there to give short side missions. And with a little work A can lead to B which leads to C... which could end up a full session or three to unravel.

Great nasty surprises as the title says. Which must be role played, not just whip out swords and hack away.
