If a Deadpool Cosplayer is your idea of a postapocalyptic merchant or you think 20% of the merchant suggestions should be sexually-related, this book is for you. If you don't mind typos like "Tamen Noodles" and "Fayglow Orange" and you want your post-apocalyptic game to focus on oh-so-mid-2010s references like Nintendo DS and Frozen, this book is for you. If you aren't familiar with genre material already and won't spot the ripoffs (right down to Fallout's Nuka Cola, but there are many others), there's material in this book that will be novel. If you'll laugh at a reference to Juggalos or scatological wordplay (I'm being generous; one of the 'places' is named "Poop") and you want to see pickup trucks made of Lego blocks - again, by all means, grab this.
If you're looking to flesh out a gritty postapocalyptic campaign with some new ideas and you've already watched a couple Mad Max films and played a PC game or two, you can move on without worrying about missing any gems. About half of the book is at least usable, but it's irritating that so much of the material is either obviously plagiarized or simply too absurd to be usable - even in a joke-heavy Wild Wasteland sort of setting.
