Is this product worth even two bucks? At the end of the day, no. The biggest problem I have with this product is the number of pages which have no game information on them -- which gives the impression that they're put in solely to inflate the page count.
There are three pages of front-matter and a single page Table of Contents (four pages with no actual game information, just pretty pictures and product identification), and at the end of the document, there are another two pages for advertisements for other Black Shark Enterprises products, two pages for the Open Gaming License information and one page with "author's notes" (another five pages of nothing, in other words). This leaves eleven pages of actual material. However, there is quite a bit of artwork spread throughout; I think the art is actually pretty good, but there's so much of it that I get the feeling it's included to pad the page count -- especially since several pieces of art appear in more than one place. A handful of pieces throughout -- sure, that'd be cool, but this was too much.
The other thing I noticed which rubbed me the wrong way was the use of slightly altered names in order to avoid copyright issues -- like using "Chevlon" motor oil, for example, when the actual company is called "Chevron". With this sort of thing, it comes across as goofy. I'd rather see the table list something like "[1d6] quarts of motor oil, still sealed" instead of "55 gallon drums of 10w40 Chevlon Motor Oil".
The formatting was mediocre at best; spelling, grammar, and capitalization all needed work.
In my opinion, it wouldn't take too much more work to really spruce it up and make it actually worth the money.
