Like most gamers, I have a lot of different miniatures, with more than a few that might not fit in any particular project.
Clash on the Finge allows you to take these miniatures, along with any others you've got and create some unique forces.
This game delivers all the action and adventure that defined the early sci-fi wargames, but with a modern rulesystem backing it up. An alternating turn sequence keeps both players in the game, and reaction fire allows the waiting player a chance to mess with his opponents plan.
The game's D10 mechanic is easy to grasp, most of the time you just roll a d10 against the relevant stat and add/subtract any modifiers, if you match or roll below your target value you have succeded. Combat on the fringe is deadly, with most of the hits scored having a lethal outcome.
Clash on the Fringe also comes with complete campaign rules and quick generators, allowing you to easily create (or choose) a conflict and following your force through it as they gain advancements as the campaign progresess.
Clash on the Fringe is very flexible, allowing for forces ranging from a handfull of heroes to platoons of troops with vehicle support on each side. A big assortment of different factions and alien archetypes are included as well, so if you want to see a horde of space-bugs facing off against an army of genetic renegades, or recreate conflict from your sci-fi video game/book/movie of choice, here is your chance!
Disclaimer: I was a beta tester for Clash on the Fringe
