Monster of the Week Supplement (MotW): The Ultimate Creature Compendium Vol.1
Publisher: Roll Players

An incredible book that more than serves its purpose. If you're looking for a book of monsters to use for Monster of the Week, it gives you a good guide, with stats and backgrounds without giving constricting mysteries. It's a call to action for keepers. But more than that, it's a piece of the MOTWEU from the Roll Players podcast. There are little notes and references written into an otherwise straightforward guidebook, giving it the feel like you have been handed this book by Sierra Corp HR, and the guide book has certainly been recycled by other users to save the company money. The fact that this is such of a beautifully designed book with fantastic art, professional looking design, and solid descriptions with it being just the first volume makes me so excited for the rest in this series. Adam Morton has really knocked this out of the park and I'm enthusiastically excited to see what else his wicked mind births.

One of my favorite new playbooks to come out. I played this playbook on a podcast and I had a ton of fun. Very good for the "Charming but magical" style of play, not a fighter by any means. The playobok has one move that could be a little overpowered, but it depends on how a keeper interprits it. One move allows you to make a sort of "deal with the devil" if someone reveals a secret to the character, the character can change the world using magic, but it doesn't require a weird roll. As I said, this could be a bit over powered, but it depends on Keeper interpritation.

Wonderful set of playbooks! I've played several of these and played with them and they always deliver a nice flavor to the game. I highly recommend them. The only problem? I never have enough time to try them all out.

A lot of fun and easy to learn. My players enjoyed this card game so much they wound up playing it more than the rpg. Really nice for downtime and it can be fun just to reference to in game.

Fantastic one shot. Would really love to see more of these. It was a great and fun introduction to the system, and I've even adapted it to other systems because the concept is so good for getting your feet wet.

I've played and ran a few campaigns for this game and I really enjoy it, and my friends really liked it. The only drawback we found was advancing a level didn't seem to pay off, only every other level do you get a new feature. Would like to see that element changed up, honestly. Other than that, this is a super fun system.
