An Endzeitgeist.com review

All right, you know the deal - 3 pages - 1 page front cover, 1 page SRD, 1 page content, let's go!

First of all - these curses can be inflicted by mythic bestow curse or mythic major curse (in the case of major curses and spellblights) and cannot be removed via anything other than a wish or miracle (or limited wish for non-major curses/spellblights) -got that? So let's take a look!

-Anoris Curse: Knit the mouth of the creature together! Ouch! Better yet, from feeding tubes to Glasgow-smile solutions, temporarily granting respite is covered...but beware, the curse reasserts itself...Cool!

-Cruciatic Sympathy: Target suffers from nonlethal damage when attacking other creatures as well as from negative conditions due to pain. This sympathy also extends to fear and pain-effects - great roleplaying tool to punish bloodthirsty characters or NPCs!

-Polypollex Curse: All fingers become thumbs. This not only looks disturbing, it also cripples manual dexterity andmakes holding on to objects VERY hard. Two thumbs up!

-Regressive Rejuvenation: Lesser age resistance, but sans keeping the bonuses, up to gaining the young simple template. Breaking this curse can have pretty fatal consequences, too - OUCH!

-Skinscription (found on the SRD-page!): Spells prepared (or available) show up as glowing runes on the caster, glowing whenever the caster casts a spell, clearly pointing towards him and making identification of the spells easy. Mythic spells daylight and faerie fire the caster - nasty when subtlety is required and even worse when there's a lynchmob around the corner...

-Sectum Sanguinum: Like skinscription on speed, this one causes the wearer to BLEED, not interfering with the casting of the spell, but then counting as ongoing damage. Very nasty and iconic!

Conclusion:

Editing and formatting are very good, I noticed no significant glitches. Layout adheres to Legendary Games' 2-column full color standard and the pdf has no bookmarks, but needs none at this length.

Jason Nelson's mythic curses rock big time - all killer, no filler curses to put the fear of them back into the players - I LOVED this mythic mini and sincerely hope we'll see more curses and hazards of this quality. Final verdict? 5 stars + seal of approval, given without even a fraction of a doubt!

Endzeitgeist out.
