This book was really interesting and fun. Solid art, nice story, cool time travel concept, and definite potential for a long term storyline. My only complaint was one or two spots of less than stellar editing, but that can be forgiven. I'll definitely be picking up the next issue of this book. If you like time travel, conspiracy, and intrigue, be sure to pick up Future Proof!

A Murder of Scarecrows is an excellent historical fiction piece set in the pre-Revolutionary War era that will appeal to fans of historical action fiction. Great story, nice classic western-style art, and well paced. Highly recommended.

Another great Judge Dredd book. It's tough to go wrong with these collections, especially for the price. Dystopian fiction at it's best!

solid first issue, though a bit confusing. the story is intriguing, but there's not much to go on, and it throws you right in the middle with little explanation. I'll definitely stick around for more, and it's worth checking out if you like a mystery.

If you were a fan of the old-school Cyberforce, then you'll feel right at home. New readers might be a bit lost or overwhelmed, but only briefly. This is a fun, intense, smart book that takes no prisoners. If you've never read Cyberforce, bear with it. It's well worth it.

Beautiful art, a unique, fascinating story, and fantastic dialogue. This is easily one of the best books I've read in years, and should be a part of every comic reader's collection. If you're sick of the same old super hero story and want something refreshing and different and incredibly compelling, pick up A Voice in the Dark. Be sure to read the authors notes/letters page at the end, Gray Matter, to find out a little more about the inspiration and characters of the story, and the inspirational story of the author himself, Larime Taylor, who writes, draws, letters, and plots the book, all without the use of his limbs. He does everything with his mouth on a digital tablet, and that makes the quality of this book all the more impressive. Believe me, you don't want to pass over this book.

If you are unfamiliar with Judge Dredd, then this is a fantastic intro to the universe. Garth Ennis pulls no punches and crafts some fine tales of the legendary Dredd that are gritty and weird, just like the Ennis we all know and love. Fans of Preacher will be happy to see Ennis and Steve Dillon working together on Emerald Isle, which has elements of Ennis' run on The Punisher, and those unfamiliar with British comics just may discover some great new artists. Don't pass on this fine book.
