These are ridiculously amazing! I've been looking for good magic item/spell cards for awhile now and these are above and beyond any others I've seen. Being fully customizable with so many options is just amazing. The quality and aesthetic of the card art is fantastic to!
I Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking to add cards to there games. Be it online or physical.

You warmed our cold Gremlin hearts, Daniel. Thanks!
We've also recently made some pogs if you all are interested. We use them for a variety of things like Hit Dice, Rations, Spell Slots, Sorcery Points, Channel Divinity, and even tokens for Spiritual Weapon or Healing Spirit! :-D |

These things are absolutely great! I somewhat pride myself as a 'high production' DM, and these cards are one of the things I use that make that easy. I use them primarily for magic items and special abilities that I award my players.
Pro tip; you can also use them (I suggest the 'spell' layout) to make quest cards! You can name the question, credit the NPC who asks the characters to complete it, and what reward is offered, and any other base details they get (go to X and kill Y, bring back Z as proof). This saves you and your players a lot of headache!

Hey Joshua!
I fixed both of these points since your review. Would you like to take a second look and perhaps reconsider your evaluation? Thank you for your time and feedback. You helped me make the product better! |

As someone who's lacking in the graphics department this is a fantastic product.
Easy to use and easy to customize. It's well worth the price.

As a new DM who is not particularly good with office or any other publishing software, I was struggling to find a esthetically pleasing and easy to use item/spell card template. This is both of those for a reasonable price. I only really have one complaint being that it doesnt have all the items in the DM guide. That being said, it only takes about a minute to copy and paste from a website and find a quick google image search for an icon.

Fantastic and so simple to use, saves me a pretty buck so many possibilites with the item cards. Once I've created and printed them all, I'm going to feel like Gambit at my next session!

The tutorial video was excellent - really quick and easy to follow. The cards are beautiful. Being able to customize and make item cards for my players was exactly what I was looking for - and I love that so much is pre-loaded in the downloadable sets. Great purchase! :)

I have used this product and successfully printed a 100 cards or so, but I have a few dissapointments about the overall product.
- The bleed on the cards is bad. There are no side borders and very limited top/bottom borders. So when you actually want to print and cut the cards, you either end up leaving white paper around the outside or you start cutting into the main box which is uncomfortably close to the text. Trying to round the corners may cut off key pieces of text.
- This product was created before the OGL, but it has not been updated since. So the product explicitly states that it doesn't include spell & item descriptions, but it actually could if it wanted to.
- The default card fonts are not easy to read. I ended up customizing the templates for legibility.
- The template backgrounds include a "(C) Rivera 2014" mark on the bottom right-hand corner. Given that I paid for these and I'm going to spend a bunch of time hand-entering the cards and sourcing graphics, I'd like to keep the credit thank you.
- There are no "back" templates.
At the end of the day, it's probably worth the new $5 price, but you'll have to expect a lot of effort to bring this all together.

Hello Gaetan,
Sorry I overlooked your feedback. Let me address a few things for you:
* You shouldn't need to worry about bleed. I would Export the cards to PNG files, then insert them into the Word template that comes with the cards. That will give you a nice sheet with just a little white between the cards, and perfectly sized for sleeves.
* Since your review, I've updated the sample card sets to include all of the OGL content. See the Readme file. Thanks for your feedback!
* Sorry about the fonts. :-/
* Copyright info has been removed!
* Sorry about the lack of back templates. I usually sleeve them so those are unnecessary. I'll consider creating some for future updates. :-)
Thank you for your constructive feedback. Yours and others have allowed me to improve the product. I can't make a perfect product for everyone, but with your help I'm getting closer. I hope you reconsider your rating. Cheers! |

Easy to use, had one hiccup about where to put files but quickly figured it out. Only downside is that the rest of my group wants me to print off cards for their characters. Well worth the money to have all the templates put together ahead of time.

Easy to use, and looks as good as (if not better than) the "premium" premade cards. Since the template is made (thdifficult part), it's no task at all to add in setting-specific spells, or really anything else you can imagine.

Good template and directions were fairly easy to understand. Glad the creator included notes on how to go get some of the files that aren't included due to legalities for selling. Very helpful video of how to use product. Only suggestion might be to update the video with the small changes in where to get stuff and how the word doc is set up and can be edited for card printing pages. Overall a great product that I have used much to make my own items and other things.

Awesome.
You can create your own Spell Cards.
You have to type the text on your own, but hey you just have 10 spells or so and every session you get an new one, so that's pretty easy.
Every class has its own design
Symbol for Action/Reaction/.....
Very nice made.

Absolutely great!
I use the templates to make custom magic items for my players. I have created a large deck of CR appropriate gear. When the players open a chest or loot a monster where the adventure calls for a magical reward I shuffle the deck and fan out that cards (face down) to let them randomly pick an item. The suspense the players have for what rewards may be in my deck of magic items adds a unique and extremely fun aspect to game sessions.
Thanks Tintagel for inspiring what has become a fun and much talked about aspect of my sessions.
