Normally I am much too lazy to write reviews. I mean to, but I just never can sit down and do the typing. Year of the Zombie has motivated me to jump on the keys and start pounding buttons like a chimp working on Bill's scripts.
The book is solid, well written. As a zombie survival horror fanatic I picked the book up just 'for the heck of it,' I figured I wouldn't be impressed. Man, was I wrong. I ended up loading it onto my pda so I could read it at work. When this comes out in print on demand, I plan to buy that version too. Literally, its one I wouldn't be able to put down.

LIKED: Uh, well, everything? I loved the flavor text which is a diary written by a survivor that fleshes out what each part of the book is about. It lets you really get a feel for how the world is in Year of the Zombie. My gosh, I mean, they get into detail about military weapons and vehicles. I love how they explain that you need not panic if players get these things. I never thought of it. If the players get a tank, sure they can smash zombies, but it'll run out of fuel and the shamblers will be right there waiting for the hatch to pop.

DISLIKED: If there is one complaint and mind you that, I feel is too strong a word for this fantastic product is that they didn't include civilian vehicles.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
