This is the first non-mechanics superlink product that really struck home for me. The Paint is a fun read and looks like it would serve great as either a one short or as a basis for an entire campaign. Finally, someone has taken a break from simualting the lame four color genre and given us something with a little more teeth. This supplement is a mix of Fight Club, Bloodsport, and superheroes. Well Done.

LIKED: A different attitude than most superlink products.

DISLIKED: I could have used more! I might have griped about the price, but The Paint hit the spot and thats more important.

QUALITY: Acceptable

VALUE: Very Satisfied
This pdf is pretty good. The art is, of course, quite nice. Unfortunately the backgrounds are quite lacking. The PDF could also use some guidelines to using the character in campaigns (tactics, adventure ideas, etc)to be a more complete product. As it stands, the price is a bit much for one page of material. I was a little bit dissapointed, because i can see what this prodcut could have been with just a little more work.

LIKED: Great Art.

DISLIKED: Lack of character info and campaign guide. A 2E update would be nice.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Disappointed
Thanks for your feedback -- it is always appreciated!
I have just submitted the 2e version to Steve Kenson for approval, and will upload it here (free to those who have already purchased it) as soon as the approval is granted.
I will take everything you've stated into account in future product releases, and will always do whatever it takes to satisfy our clientele!
Best to ya!

There is little more i can say that the others haven't. This is a top flight game on all levels. It may be the best pdf I have ever bought. If you like the samurai/bushido genre, then you are incomplete without Sengoku.

LIKED: The absolute care that obviously went into making this game.

DISLIKED: Can you day bliss? I knew you could.

QUALITY: Excellent

VALUE: Very Satisfied
I am quite pleased with this little pick up. Instead of a bunch of bad guys to beat up, this pdf takes a brief look into the neighborhood that your character might be prowling at night. The characters that it presents are not superhuman (mostly), but living, breathing characters. Whether as antagonists or simpathetic characters, each of the characters has something different to bring to the table. The backgrounds and political affiliations of the characters also lend themself to several plot hooks than can be explored.

LIKED: A different take on superhero supplements. Refreshing.

DISLIKED: I would have liked to see the various conspiracies and npc groups mentioned in this supplement explored in a little more detail then they were.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Satisfied
This is a useful resource for those thinking of getting into the PDF business or looking to study it.

LIKED: The contracts and other documents were quite useful and as informative about the pdf business as the text itself. I do so like charts and graphs.

DISLIKED: I honestly expected to get more insight into the pdf business than i did.
The layout and presentation is somewhat simple and i think its reasonable to have expected a more top flight looking PDF that is designed to instruct others in pdf publishing.
I'll admit that i was interested in the admission into the publishers forum here at RPGNOW that the product included. However it turned out that access to the publisher forums is no great prize.

I like YOTZ a lot.
The style of writing is nice and clean. I thought that the "After the Risen" conclusions were logical. Being a fan of zombie, and apocalyptic themes even more so, most of this product was familiar to me. But the writer did manage to come up with thoughts and scenarios i hadn't thought of. I enjoyed that.
I would consider YOTZ to be necessary primer for anyone who wants to run a well prepared D20 Zombie game. Anyone interested in useful apocalyptic themes and game material can also find this book quite useful.

LIKED: The insanity section was a nice touch. It was well put together and packed with tons of info and flavor text to get you in the mood.

DISLIKED: There wasn't anything i didn't like about this product that i can think of. The art was a little scribbily in parts, but even that seemed to fit the genre quite nicely.

QUALITY: Very Good

VALUE: Very Satisfied
Thanks very much. we appreciate very much knowing how people use our products, it helps in planning the next product, as regards the artwork the "scribbly nature" was intentional as some of the artwork was supposedly done by Becka herself as scribbles in her diary. Kevin UKG |

This is an excellent product. So far its the first "Steamtech" book to get it done right. This will make an excellent add on to Iron Kingdoms when it comes out in a month or two.
The layout and art lend to the genre quite well. I see no real glaring mistakes and the quality rivals that of many of the larger print publishers.
The material itself is damned good. More material was fit into this book than i thought could be. This book covers prosthetics, constructs, vehicles, steamwork weapons/armor/equipment, feats, prestige classes, skill variations, and magic that syncs up real nice to the steamwork genre (both divine and arcane). Its support writing on how to use the books and on steamwork campaigning also hit the mark.
Its about time someone did this right.
