I was initially reluctant to read Scarred Lands material because it was published by White Wolf during the D & D 3.0 era.

With Nocturnal and Onyx Path on its own, that was no longer an impediment.

As for the adventure itself, the setting is moody, atmospheric dark fantasy. There is a lot of advice for integrating player characters into the setting and for modifying the adventure. The dungeon layout is unusual, a bonus, to me. The encounters are challenging, from what I read. I have one minor objection, a legacy era error from earlier editions of D & D. Instead of Challenge Rating, encounters are described by their Encounter Level.

I'm a little biased when it comes to the Scarred Lands. As a player I spent at least 6 years playing in that campaign setting. I lost many characters over that period of time and loved every minute of it. I am so excited for the reboot to get under way. Keep it coming!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it. I love the whole Scarred Lands campaign and setting. I am extremely excited that it is getting rebooted. I cannot wait for the first products. This adventure was well written with challenging and unique terrain. They integrated the concept of lesser titans into the setting which I feel was a great idea.

I highly recommend this adventure and any Scarred Lands material and source books to fantasy role-players.
