Excellent tactical rules, great production values, handles a lot of facets well.

Heavy Gear Blitz feels more realistic than other rulesets, rewarding combined arms warfare. Tanks, infantry, and gears are all useful. Heavy Gear Blitz is a lot more newbie friendly than the silcore editon and has a short but good introduction for the people who are totally new to the heavy gear universe. rules seems complicated on first glance, but that is because they cover so much. One or two read throughs should show how fast & elegent the rules really are.

Highly recommended for heavy gear fans, mecha combat fans, and treadheads.
