A very handy reference. I like the layout and presentation of the stat blocks as well as the inksaver options. One complaint would be the alphabetization. Everything is arranged by the first word in prose order. For example, instead of "Dragon, Blue" under "D", it's "Blue Dragon" under "B." This isn't the end of the world, but it does lump all the Giant version of animals under "G" instead of with their normal counterparts under the creatures' actual types. It would have been 4 stars instead of 3 except for this.

A wonderfully entropic quest, reminding the players that DCC is not a place where every encounter is "balanced", nor is every challenge solved by the sword. I particularly enjoyed the RP opps for intra-party conflct.

With each set, Deny pushes the envelope back on folding cardstock modelling. Castleworks Ultimate is no exception. I am BLOWN AWAY by ths set. Amazng detail, incredible modularity, easy to build, it's got it all.<br><br><b>LIKED</b>: lift off floors of multi-story buildings and towers to allow level-by-level play.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: While I understand the benefits of using the foamcore for bases, it does represent a shift from "pure" folding and an additional expense. That said, foamcore does make for a much nicer finished product.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Excellent<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Very Satisfied<br>

Awesome stuff! The detail is incredible easy to work with!

You never think of the inside of that bar the party always meet in, but this set makes me want to run a whole adventure inside the pub!

Great for setting up town adventures or skirmishes. Lots of detail and options.

A neat concept, but a little shaky in parts of the story. If your players are adverse to linear plots, this is probably not the best module for them.

This is a great idea and a great product! You can't beat the price either. The cards are easy to print and cut -no formatting required- and the artwork is very good. For any DM who likes the idea of visual aids but isn't much of an artist (like me!), these cards are definitely worth taking a look at.

I am going to print & laminate several of the "ammo" & "ration" cards for my players (as per V's tip) to help ease the bookkeeping. Also, I will be giving the players a card per potion or scroll to "redeem" when they drink/read it.

I'm really looking forward to the next volume as well.
