Very good, and interesting, system for expanding on the sorely lacking martial arts aspects of heroes in d20. Applies to Modern, but I am looking at how to adapt it for use in our D&D game also; d20 based games have long suffered from a lack of options for those who like to punch, kick, strangle, or take their enemy to the ground... this is the cure.

Well written and layed out. The covers are nice as well. If you want to run a pure martail arts movie type campaign this is the book for you. There may be some compatability issues if you want to include a character from here with those of a regular D20 game system.

Wow. I have to say I was totally blown away by this book. Not only is it entertaining, but it's balanced as well. I've since bought both Blood and Space and also Blood and Guts, and I must say that RPG Objects doesn't dissapoint.

Heh, I enjoyed this alot, the flavour text that runs all the way through is in the form of a running narrative that combines all you favourite martial arts films from when you were a teenager (half remembered Bruce Lee and probably too much Van Damme....), good stuff.

I'd give it five stars, but the odds of me getting to use it in a game are quite low. Thanks heavens for compulsive purchases.

Plus it got update within a week of me purchasing it, which was nice.

Blood and Fists does an outstanding job of adding martial arts options to the d20 Modern game. Everything from barroom brawlers to boxers to the myriad forms of Eastern martial arts are covered, and there are also explanations detailing how to create (or adapt) new styles.

The book also includes numerous NPC's from across the spectrum of levels and lots of adventure hooks. Whether you're interested in running a martial arts campaign or just giving your PC's and NPC's more options, this book has something for you.
