Great systemless scenarios that I have run in Cthulhu Dark, COC and even MOTW. Wonderfully evocative setting that has far more soul than the usual aristo chums investigating odd things as a hobby; desperate times make for desperate people, facing nightmares both mortal and eternal and with no wealth score to fall back on. Some incredible new antagonists/threats/monsters from the Wives of March to the hungry beasts beneath Chicago and the stand out new creations of The FIsher of Men and... something else. Never removed from the horrors of the human world but revealing even darker aspects of it.

Oh and a perfect scenario for a dusk-till-dawn style suprise if you can somehow trick your players into running a mountain-climbing challenge without tipping your hat :D

I had the PDFs of these but then got the POD; quality is great! My first POD purchase and I'm very, very happy with it.

This is just a review of the content of No Security, I will post a review of the print quality once I receive my copy.

No Security is a breath of fresh air in horror gaming. While it follows the Lovecraftian tradition, these scenarios (and the more modern scenario "Lover in the Ice") are anything but traditional. The monsters are fresh, inventive, and creepy. Most importantly though the monsters are written to specifically accent each scenario, which adds to their effectiveness and their overall horror aspect.

The author is a superb writer who understands horror and investigation. These scenarios range from a bloodbath ( "The Fall Without End") to an almost pure investigation ("The Red Tower"), to a literal look at the horror presented in the Bible ("Revelations") to perhaps the two scariest games you could ever play ( "Bryson Springs" and "The Wives of March").

These scenarios are systemless, and will fit into your favorite system with ease.

If your group enjoys true horror gaming and great writing, No Security is the book for you.
