Castles & Crusades is one of the best systems since AD&D. Smooth, easy-to-use, but with higher number AC scores, so your brain doesn't fry when you think about it.

Most of these were very interesting. Some were a bit too short, others overly long, but all-in-all, enjoyable to read and consider using in a campaign...if only my players liked swashbuckling.
I found some of the simple ideas just as good as the complex ones, which is wonderful. Can't wait to see more of these, or things like this in the future.

I'm afraid I wasn't impressed. They may come in handy for tossing one down and saying, "That's what so-and-so looks like" randomly during a game, but I don't see much use for them beyond that. I found too many repeats as well. I would have preferred one image per coin, rather than four images with varied backgrounds/foregrounds/framing.
Matter-of-fact, I could have used them for a one-off game last weekend, but it didn't even occur to me. Hopefully someone else will find them of more use than I have.

These maps were nice. Saves me time to come up with my own, and they appeared well thought out. The last maps like these that I used (that I did not make myself) were from a book on castles. Funny how most real castles are not linear due to the landscape and necessity.
If you want a map to throw into a campaign, this is what you want.

While I would not consider this to be a complete tome of familiars, it was interesting.
I read through it and for the most part, I agree with the stats and information given.

Interesting and surprising. I didn't imagine it was man-sized!
I am still waiting for a game to test it on my poor players.
